Neat Hotel Avenida Ponta Delgada , Ponta Delgada (Sao Miguel)

I stayed at this hotel and had a mixed experience. The room I eventually got was quieter but smaller in size. It was big, clean, and offered a great view of the ocean and port. The room came with a lovely fruit basket that was replenished daily, and they provided bottled water at no extra cost. However, the room seemed to be set permanently at a rather chilly temperature of 17C.

The hotel offers comfortable rooms with a good bathroom and extra armchair/table to avoid feeling cramped. However, the basement location lacks appeal and atmosphere, possibly falling below standards.

The hotel offers great value for money with its fantastic location, friendly staff, and comfortable rooms. However, the dining experience could be improved with more options for breakfast. The facilities are well-kept and enjoyable.

The rooms are attractive, clean, and boast large bathrooms, though some stains were visible on the carpets and curtains. The service was a mix of extremely helpful staff organizing tours and a moment of rudeness upon departure. Dining options ranged from complete and varied to average with no minibar or parking available. The hotel's highlights include the immaculate bathrooms and the great city center location, while areas for improvement are the cleanliness of the rooms and the dining experience.
